Famous Who?
Bob Montagna called me 'Famous Gabe' one time in a magazine article. I asked him why and he replied that since everyone knows me that made me 'famous'. I know he meant what he said, as he always did, but my friends could not help but to make it a completely sarcastic adjective attached to my name. I loathed it. "Hello? Is this the 'Famous' Gabe? BuHahaha!" One day my phone rang and instead of the usual pranks it was terrible news: Bob was dead. His passing left a huge void in my heart. Bob was a bridge that connected generations of tattooers. He constantly reminded me that the younger tattooers pushing the limits of tattooing can only do so because they are standing on the shoulders of many and if you are there looking past the horizon you should take moment to look down at the generations of artist that holding us up. Damn. I knew that the tattoo name Bob had given me was a true gift and I have embraced it ever since. Thanks Bob! And thank you any and everyone that believed in me and still do for that matter.

Road Trip?
I hope to do a whirlwind tour where I stop and tattoo for a day or two in the following cities:
Nashville, Louisville, Columbus OH, Cleveland, Binghamton NY, NYC-Brooklyn, Philly, DC?, and last but not least the old stomping grounds of Atlanta.
